Nordværk's current workwear arrangement expires on 31 August 2027, and the previous decentralised arrangement has presented challenges. These challenges include, among others, lack of central control over reflective quality, inconsistent washing standards, and a significant administrative burden. Nordværk wishes to secure, with this tender, a more uniform, safe and administratively simple solution for the entire organisation. The contract involves the delivery of a combined lease/ownership arrangement with professional washing of the entire clothing range with one supplier. The clothing is divided into a basic package, which is leased from the supplier and includes frequently washed items such as t-shirts, sweatshirts and trousers, and a seasonal package, which is owned by Nordværk and includes less frequently washed items such as winter jackets, quilted jackets, shorts and overalls. The supplier is responsible for the professional washing of both packages. For employees at some of Nordværk's recycling sites, a special tailored arrangement applies, where all clothing is owned by Nordværk and the supplier carries out at least one annual professional wash with reflective control. All hi-vis clothing must meet the requirements of DS/EN ISO 20471.
