Ireland – Tractors – Supply and Delivery of an Agricultural Tractor to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine

The Department Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) requires an agricultural tractor for use at Killybegs Fishery Harbour Centre (FHC), Killybegs, Co. Donegal. The principle function of the tractor shall be to tow vessels to and from dry dock bays in the Department shipyard. Vessels up to 600 tonnes are removed from the water on cradle trains using a vertical syncrolift facility. The tractor would be attached to the cradle train at ground level in order to tow the vessels into the dry dock bay or into the boat repair building.The successful tenderer shall provide as part of the contract price a comprehensive Warranty and Service/Maintenance Package for the tractor for the first 6000 hours or for a period of five (5) years commencing on the date of delivery of the vehicle-whichever comes first.
