**Description of the Procurement:**

Kilkenny County Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the supply of 2 no. compact road sweepers.

**Technical Specifications:**

The road sweepers should comply with the following specifications:

- Sweeping width: min. 1.5 m

- Hopper capacity: min. 1.5 m³

- Engine power: min. 100 kW

- Maximum speed: min. 60 km/h

**Tender Submission:**

Tenders must be submitted electronically via the eTenders portal (https://etenders.gov.ie/) by the deadline specified. Late submissions will not be accepted.

**Evaluation Criteria:**

Tenders will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

- Price (40%)

- Technical merit (30%)

- Delivery time (20%)

- After-sales service (10%)

**Award Procedure:**

The contract will be awarded to the tenderer who offers the best value for money, based on the evaluation criteria specified.

**Contract Duration:**

The contract will commence on 2023-11-01 and will run for a period of 36 months.

**Contract Value:**

The estimated contract value is €300,000 (excluding VAT).

**Payment Terms:**

Payment will be made in accordance with the agreed payment schedule upon delivery and acceptance of the road sweepers.
