Støtte til Direktøren for Værkerne i forbindelse med overvågning, kontrol, inspektion og tilsyn med disse. Arbejdet skal sikre, at værkerne udføres i overensstemmelse med det godkendte projekt og dets godkendte ændringer, at geometrien, målinger og vurderinger er korrekte og at kvaliteten af alle og hver enhed af værk, samt de anvendte materialer, svarer til de specificerede krav i Tekniske Projektbestemmelser. Desuden vil den tekniske støtte give specialiseret støtte til overvågning og kontrol af de maritime og undervandsaktioner, der er omtalt i projektet, herunder overvågning af arbejdet udført af professionelle dykkere, kontrol af de under vandet udførte værkenheder, gennemgang af den tekniske og sikkerhedsrelaterede dokumentation for disse operationer og verificering af deres overensstemmelse med projektspecificeringerne og den gældende normativ.
