SETU anmoderer levering af et instrument til elementaranalyse til præcis analytisk bestemmelse af kemisk sammensætning af materialer, primært kulstof, brint, kvælstof, og proteinbestemmelse med de herunder angivne obligatoriske krav. Systemet vil blive brugt i et forskningslaboratorium på en akademisk institution, nemlig South East Technological University (SETU), Waterford, Irland. Dette system skal analysere en række, og ikke begrænset til, prøver fra fødevarer, landbrug og bredere livsvidenskabelige anvendelser. Systemet vil blive placeret i et eksisterende laboratorium (med de nødvendige gasinstallationer) med alle de nødvendige specifikationer, der er angivet i dette dokument.
