The European Commission, Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, intends to award a contract for the conception, fabrication and installation of a thematic playground dedicated to the senses. The playground will be located in Brussels, Belgium, and will be designed to stimulate the senses of children aged 3 to 12 years.

The playground should include the following elements:

- A sensory path with different textures and materials

- Interactive musical instruments

- A water play area with fountains and water jets

- A sand play area with buried treasures

- A climbing structure with different levels of difficulty

- A quiet area for relaxation and contemplation

- A seating area for parents and caregivers

The contractor will be responsible for the design, manufacture, delivery, installation, and maintenance of the playground for a period of 2 years. The contractor must also provide a warranty for the materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years.

The estimated value of the contract is EUR 500,000.
