Vennesla kommune skal etablere en ny dobbelt hal i Skolevegen. Projektet omfatter to adskilte individuelle hallebygninger (dobbelthal) og skal bl.a. omfatte et socialt rum til Vennesla skole, familierum og HC omklædningsrum, sauna forbundet med svømmehallen, samt universelt designede offentlige og fællesarealer.
