Universitetet i Galway udvikler en ny teknologi til at støtte den højre forhjertskammer under perioder med trykoverbelastning. Holdet søger bud på to forskellige udbud af tjenester: Udbud 1: R og D konsulent til at levere tjenester i udviklingen af en ny kardiovaskulær medicinsk enhed til evaluering i et preklinisk studie. Udbud 2: Budgiveren vil tilbyde tjenester til evaluering af en ny kardiovaskulær medicinsk enhed i et stort dyremodel. Denne kontrakt vil omfatte udviklingen af et protokol og studie-strategi. Studiet vil omfatte at implantere prototypeenheder i akutte dyr for at demonstrere bevis på koncept, samt at implantere dyr for akut evaluering til støtte for vurderingen af prototyperne.
