For at optimising the home care of Zorgpunt Waasland (ZPW) to be optimised, a public contract is being awarded for the purchase and implementation of software that can streamline the processes for our home care services. The home care services are: family care and home cleaning, shopping service, day care, short stay and residential care: groups of assisted living, elderly housing and residential care centres. The initial focus is on the processes within home care, but it is optional and, ideally, expandable to residential care in the long term. ZPW already works according to uniform processes, but the software is outdated, inefficient and too dependent on human actions. To optimise as much as possible, the organisation wishes to purchase a more user-friendly software package. The new software must be intuitive and easy to manage, must have a number of content requirements and minimal links so that double registration can be avoided as much as possible. An overarching care dossier with service-specific registration options for intake, dossier setup, dossier follow-up and contract management are crucial from the start of the implementation. Also a user-friendly scheduling tool with employee app, a link with time registration, with Vesta, with Pluxee and BelRAI and a conversion of the current (both active and passive) care dossiers. Ideally, this is followed by a comprehensive waiting list management based on an advanced points system, an integrated 'jobtracker' functionality and a link with Power BI. Finally, a link with VSB is a necessity. The software must be web-based, hosted by the supplier and provide flexible license management. The user management can be linked to our Microsoft Azure AD tenant via Identity federation. The software must be accessible both within and outside the network of ZPW and easy to use on various types of devices (desktop PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone...) and with the various current operating systems on the market. Extensive technical details will be available in the technical specifications of the tender. ZPW wishes to purchase already available software that has various modules and where a certain form of flexibility is present, but where customisation and additional costs for that customisation are avoided. The software will be purchased according to the SAAS principle (Software As A Service) and must be compatible with Windows Server 20149 and must be Citrix ready. In addition, a link with Azure Active Directory is also required.
