The Berlin Urban Nature Pact is an initiative of the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment. The aim is to implement the targets of the Global Biodiversity Framework of Kunming-Montreal and the renewed action plan (2021-2030) for biological diversity through local measures. The subject of the procurement is the operation of the established coordination office to support and operationalise the Pact. The coordination office serves as a central point of contact for all participating and interested cities worldwide and undertakes tasks such as networking and expert exchange between the cities, monitoring, as well as communication and public relations.
