Norway – Environmental monitoring other than for construction – Investigation of a water environment in Åkersvika Nature Reserve

When E6 (highway) was buildt through Åkersvika nature reserve in 2014, many physical, chemical and biological examinations were carried out to document the pre-condition. The compensation plan states that the County Governor is responsible for carrying out subsequent investigations in order to document any changes. In 2026, there will be a recurrence of what was done in the water environment in order to detect any changes in the water ecosystem.
