**Digitalisation of processes in the Municipal Roads and Bridges Authority in Katowice E-Public Services**

The main objective of the subject project is to increase the level of use by citizens, businesses and administration of public services provided electronically, by creating and providing e-public services, based on the digitalisation of back-office processes and digitalising and providing data in the Municipal Roads and Bridges Authority in Katowice. The above is in line with the implementation of the specific goal of the action: deriving benefits from digitalisation for citizens, enterprises, research organisations and public institutions, as well as with the identified intermediate goals translating into types of projects: • Digitalisation of back-office processes in entities providing public services and smart city elements • Creation and development of e-public services • Digitalisation and provision of data.

The project covers spatial data in the area of public roads. Within the project, applications (back-office) will be developed based on digitally available public sector information, and modern technological solutions will be implemented, and the digitalisation of analogue data will take place for the purpose of making them available in e-public services. The solutions implemented within the project will be designed and implemented with due regard to the requirements of interoperability, cybersecurity, digital accessibility and personal data protection, applicable to the teleinformatics systems and e-services of public entities.

The main goal will be achieved through: • streamlining the handling of citizens and entrepreneurs within the digitalisation of administrative processes, which will enable citizens and entrepreneurs to use services provided electronically at the fifth level of their maturity, • digitalisation of spatial data of the public roads area, the reuse of which is associated with benefits for society, the environment and the economy, • digitalisation of databases, necessary to achieve the electronic implementation of e-services, including through mobile devices, directed to citizens and entrepreneurs and creating conditions for their uninterrupted, harmonised operation, • creating an IT backbone (back office) ensuring uninterrupted and cyber-secure operation of e-public services, • ensuring that the designed and implemented solutions comply with the cybersecurity requirements applicable to the teleinformatics systems of public entities, particularly in terms of risk management, business continuity, service resilience, event monitoring and incident management, and secure system integration; • ensuring that the designed and implemented solutions comply with the provisions on the protection of personal data, including by applying data protection principles in the design phase (Article 25(1) GDPR) and by default data protection (Article 25(2) GDPR), data minimisation (Article 5(1)(c) GDPR) and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality (Article 5(1)(f) GDPR) and accountability of processing (Article 5(2) GDPR); • purchasing a teleinformatics system that fits into the smart city concept, utilising new technologies to improve the quality of life of residents, • ensuring the interoperability of teleinformatics systems to serve public registers, a condition for the launch of e-services, by developing and expanding IT solutions in the field of electronic administration and geoinformation.
