Germany – Refuse recycling services – Verwertung kommunaler Wertstoffanteil

In the district of Wittmund, lightweight packaging (LVP) from the systems and similar non-packaging materials (sNVP) are collected using waste bins on the mainland and waste bags on the islands of Langeoog and Spiekeroog. According to the harmonisation agreement, it has been agreed that the district will bear the collection costs for 18% by mass of the waste mixture and will take over and process this quantity of the collected material.
