Germany – Construction work – Dachabdichtungsarbeiten für den Neubau Herzzentrum und Informatics for Life am Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg VE 364.01

A new university heart center is being constructed at Heidelberg University Hospital. Within the hospital grounds at the Neuenheimer Feld, during the ongoing hospital operations of Heidelberg University Hospital, on the site around the old children's hospital. The new heart center will bring together the cardiology, angiology, cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiology, pediatric cardiac surgery, and cardiothoracic anesthesia departments of Heidelberg University Hospital. Interdisciplinary cooperation and innovations will generate synergies and added value in care and research. The scientific research area Informatics for Life (IFL) will be directly integrated into the new construction of the heart center and functionally closely linked to it. By focusing on scientific computing in cardiovascular molecular research, progress in personalized heart medicine in Germany will be achieved.
