• The re-electrification of the Athus bundle

• The re-electrification of a section of track between L165/2 and L165/3

• The installation of a 25,000/400 V switch and transformer for the VCAW

The re-electrification works include:

• The studies necessary for the adaptation of the catenary installations

• The actual works for the adaptation of the catenary installations to the new track layout and trackside equipment

These works include the creation of foundations, metal equipment, unwinding, suspension, adjustment, adaptation of existing installations, dismantling of decommissioned installations and any service aimed at achieving a perfect finish of the installations

• The works for connecting the new catenaries to the existing catenaries

• Various works such as the creation of pits, painting, moving two lighting pylons, etc.

All the studies and works concerned are to be carried out in close phasing with track works, renewal of civil engineering works and signalling adaptations. The execution of works generates significant CO2 emissions. Infrabel aims to reduce its CO2 emissions during the execution of its public works contracts. The achievement of this ambition is only possible with the active commitment of its co-contractors. For this reason, the CO2 performance scale clauses are applicable in this public contract, under which tenderers making an effort to reduce their CO2 emissions are rewarded with an advantage in the ranking of offers.
