The city of Bochum plans to implement the "House of Knowledge" (HdW) in the historic post office building in the heart of Bochum's city centre. As part of the preparations for the move and the media-technical equipment of this building, the Digitalisation Laboratory House of Knowledge (HdW-Labor) is to be set up in the Education and Administration Centre (BVZ) of the city of Bochum. This includes some equipment scenarios of the future House of Knowledge and is intended to enable users and to advance essential development processes on the part of the user institutions even before the HdW is set up and completed. These include, for example, processes for content development or the development of specific requirements for control surfaces and information systems. This includes the delivery, configuration and commissioning of displays, projectors up to a seminar room equipment. Various tablet computers are to be delivered or a gaming station (VR / AR) is to be set up. For the operation of the systems, digital signage components are to be delivered and set up and operated with the help of a central media control.
