The subject of this contract is the delivery of a gas chromatograph and triple quadrupole mass spectrometer complete system from a manufacturer, including installation, instruction and training by the contractor (AN). The contracting authority is the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources, Stilleweg 2, 30655 Hannover. The system will be primarily used for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex mixtures of natural, organic compounds from geological samples. This includes, for example, the qualitative and quantitative examination of the molecular composition of crude oil, extracts from rocks, sediments and water samples. The gas chromatograph (GC) and the triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (MS) must have seamless integration between the devices so that all GC and MS operating parameters are available at all times and the possibilities for errors in the communication of the data systems are minimised.
