The procurement concerns the regular elections to be held during the years 2027–2030 and possible early elections. The regular elections are: parliamentary elections 2027, election day 18.4.2027; municipal elections 2029, election day 15.4.2029; European Parliament elections, election day 10.6.2029; first round of the presidential election, election day 27.1.2030; possible second round of the presidential election, election day 10.2.2030. It should be noted that the second round of the presidential election will take place if none of the candidates receives more than half of the votes cast in the first round. The procurement is divided into two sub-areas: Sub-area 1. Arrangement of polling stations and operational management The procurement includes the preparation, arrangement, supervision, dismantling and final tasks of the polling stations on election day, as well as the operational management responsible for these. There are approximately 165 polling stations in Helsinki on election day, of which approximately 110 will be in the premises of the City of Helsinki. The majority of the polling stations to be located in the city's properties are in schools. The services of the subject of the procurement are directed to the premises of the City of Helsinki (approximately 110 premises). The number of polling stations will be specified when the City Council of Helsinki decides on the polling stations for each election (Election Act § 9). Sub-area 2. Election security services The procurement includes the necessary security services for the premises of the Central Election Committee and possibly other necessary locations.
