In the exercise of its competences, the SYMSAGEB is responsible for the management of aquatic environments and is also the manager of flood, runoff and erosion prevention works. The subject of the services differs from one lot to another:

Lots 1 and 2: Maintenance of the watercourses of the Liane, the Wimereux, the Slack and the coastal streams.

Lot 3: Maintenance and restoration of soft hydraulic structures (hedges and fascines).

Lot 4: Maintenance of Dynamic Flow Control Structures (DFCS).

To promote employment and encourage integration, pursuant to Article L2113-13 of the Public Procurement Code, the SYMSAGEB has chosen to reserve Lots 1, 3 and 4 for economic activity and integration schemes referred to in Article L. 5132-4 of the Labour Code and for equivalent schemes, when they employ a minimum proportion, set by regulation, of disadvantaged workers.
