Revitalisation of part of the peatlands will be carried out in areas where a dense network of drainage ditches was constructed in the past. These are the Černý rybník and Fláje sites. The total scope of the intervention will be up to 43 ha. The aim of the revitalisation measures is to create conditions for the growth of the peatland, i.e. its re-wetting. This will be achieved by covering or blocking the drainage ditches. Material for covering the ditches will be used from the area where the measures are being implemented. In case of a lack of material for covering the ditches, a solution in the form of transverse blocking of the ditches in a combination of wood/earth will be proposed.
