Germany – License management software package – Verlängerung VMware Lizenzen 2026-2029

The central server infrastructure of the city of Aalen and its schools is largely based on a virtualized data center environment based on VMware vSphere. Following the acquisition of VMware by Broadcom Inc., the licensing has been changed to an exclusively time-limited subscription model. The existing licenses expire in a staggered manner in 2026. The terms are listed in the statement of requirements. The objective of this tender is to identify a business partner to conclude a subscription license agreement with a term of three years. As part of the new procurement, the previously different terms are to be harmonized to a uniform contract end date.
