Description

The first day of catering for the 2026/2027 school year is 1 September 2026, for which the Contractor will receive the daily ration number by 14:00 on 24 August 2026. The Inviting Party will provide the preliminary daily ration number to the winning Bidder by 14:00 on the Wednesday of the preceding week. The final daily ration numbers will be sent by the Inviting Party to the winning Bidder by 9:00 on the last working day before the catering day. The Contractor is obliged to prepare a menu/meal plan one week in advance and present it to the head of the relevant institution and/or the head of catering (or the institution's doctor, if applicable) by at least 7 days before the first day of the current week, who may comment on it. The approved menu must be displayed by the Contractor in the dining area. When compiling the menu/meal plan, attention must be paid to the age-specific characteristics defined by law in terms of both quantity and content, and - as far as possible - the principles of modern nutrition should be prioritized. Seasonal food offerings should be prominently featured in the weekly menus (vegetables, fruits, side dishes, mostly poultry-based meat dishes), as well as the special needs of those entitled to dietary assistance in the relevant institution. The Contractor must also provide dietary catering for the given period in the institutions. The individual meals must be provided during the following time intervals. Nursery: Breakfast: 8:00 Snack: 9:45 Lunch: 11:30 Afternoon snack: 15:00 Kindergarten: Snack: 8:00 - 9:00 Lunch: 11:45 - 12:15 Afternoon snack: 12:00 - 15:00 The food leftovers generated during catering, as well as other kitchen and restaurant waste, must be handled, stored, and transported (disposed of) in accordance with legal requirements, and it is the responsibility of the Bidder/Contractor to ensure this. Special attention must be paid to the proper collection, storage, and transportation (disposal) of kitchen waste and fats, oils used in food preparation. The cleaning of the restaurants, kitchens, and associated premises is the responsibility of the Contractor, and their value must be included in the contract price. The number of kindergarten catering days is 220, and the number of nursery catering days is 231, which may change during the contract period. The service must be provided taking into account the opening hours, but the Inviting Party is obliged to ensure summer holiday child catering based on Act XXXI of 1997 on Child Protection and Guardianship. In this procurement procedure, bids can be submitted for 2 lots as follows: 1. Tolnai Városi Bölcsőde (7130 Tolna, Bartók B. u. 41/A) 20 normal portions, and 6 dietary portions 2. Wosinsky Mór Óvoda (7130 Tolna, Bartók Béla u. 41.): Pitypang Óvoda: 84 normal portions, 13 dietary portions Gesztenyéskert Óvoda: 49 normal portions, 0 dietary portions Selyem Óvoda: 26 normal portions, 2 dietary portions Aprajafalva Óvoda: 41 normal portions, 4 dietary portions Zöldkert Óvoda: 29 normal portions, 1 dietary portion The above portion numbers indicate the expected daily portion numbers, for informational purposes. ----------------- According to Section 4 (2) of Government Decree 676/2020. (XII. 28.) on the specific rules for procedures to be applied in public catering procurements, the Contractor is obliged to fulfill the contract in such a way that at least 80% of the value of the procured products comes from products procured through short public catering supply chains, or local food products. According to Section 6 (2) of Government Decree 676/2020. (XII. 28.), the Contractor is obliged to provide data separately by law electronically from the traceability documentation to the Nemzeti Élelmiszerlánc-biztonsági Hivatal (hereinafter: NÉBIH), and the National Public Health Center. The Contractor is obliged to keep records of the procurements throughout the entire contract period and to regularly certify to the Inviting Party – upon the Inviting Party's request – that at least 80% of the value of the procured products comes from the short supply chain and local food products as per Government Decree 676/2020. (XII.28.), supported by invoices, delivery notes, and supplier declarations. The Contractor will provide a telephone number at the time of contract conclusion, which the institution heads can use to contact a person with the appropriate authority to take action. In case of strongly criticized quality, a sample of the portion will be taken with the participation of the Contractor, and the Purchaser reserves the right to have this examined in an appropriate laboratory. In these cases, but at any time during the performance, the Purchaser may request a 100-portion recipe for the dish listed on the menu.
