This contract aims to ensure the passability and safety of road users on the motorways E40, E17, E34 and R4 and their accessories (including slip roads, complexes, junctions, on- and off-ramps) in the province of East Flanders. This is achieved through the execution of maintenance works, repair works, damage repair works, minor (winter) asphalt works and works on vertical signage. These works are of limited scope and non-structural nature. The hiring of crash barriers with operator-drivers to secure operations on regional and motorways in the province of East Flanders contributes to the safety of road users and the workers carrying out the operations on the road.
