Germany – Sports hall construction work – Sanierung/Rückbau Sporthalle, Kopenhagener Straße 5a, 18107 Rostock - Los 51 - Freianlagen und Tiefbau

The sports hall complex at Kopenhagener Straße 5a/b consists of two interconnected gymnasiums of the GT 60 L type, which were constructed approximately in the years 1969/70. Now over 50 years old and never modernised, it exhibits considerable structural and fire safety defects. The technical equipment is outdated, and the heat and weather protection is no longer guaranteed. The hall equipment is insufficient for the planned competitive operation, and barrier-free use has so far only been possible in parts. In the sense of sustainability, a comprehensive renovation of the halls is therefore indispensable. The implementation of the planned construction measures is to be carried out in 4 sections: 1. Section: School sports field on the south side including access to Kopenhagener Str. 5a/b 2. Section: Renovation and extension of Hall 1 (eastern hall) including access roads and parking spaces 3. Section: Renovation and extension of Hall 2 (western hall) including access roads and parking spaces 4. Section: Outdoor facilities baseball field. After the completion of the first two construction sections, the renovation of Hall 2 (Kopenhagener Str. 5a) will now take place in the third construction section.
