The subject of the contract is the supply of computer sets and monitors constituting workstations for advanced scientific computations, 3D visualisation, simulation, rendering, and processing large data sets for the needs of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Wrocław University of Technology. The contracting authority conducts numerous works related to the broad issue of ballistics and ballistic protection. Currently, the ongoing computational and experimental works require enormous and constantly increasing computational power related to both numerical analyses carried out by the finite element method and the finite difference method, as well as the development of enormous data sets originating from experimental tests, computer tomography imaging, and medical data. The subject of the contract will be used in an interdisciplinary manner in the implementation of many research projects and scientific and development works conducted in the unit, as well as within the cooperation with other scientific units and industrial partners.

The contract implementation period is up to 4 months from the date of conclusion of the contract. Details regarding the deadline and terms of implementation of the subject of the contract are included in the contract template, which is Annex No. 2 to the SWZ.

In accordance with Article 257 of the Public Procurement Law, the contracting authority envisages the possibility of invalidating the subject of the procedure if the funds that the contracting authority intended to allocate for the financing of the whole or part of the contract have not been granted to it.

The contracting authority envisages the application of the so-called reverse procedure, as referred to in Article 139(1) of the Public Procurement Law, i.e. the contracting authority will first carry out an examination and evaluation of the offers, and then carry out the subject qualification of the Contractor, whose offer was most highly evaluated, in terms of the absence of grounds for exclusion and the fulfilment of the conditions for participation in the procedure.

The contractor is bound by the offer from the date of expiry of the offer submission deadline until 28/10/2026 (no longer than 90 days).
