For the renewal of the high-voltage supply on the DLR site in Göttingen, the 110 kV feed will be rebuilt with the subordinate 5.4 kV switchgear. The current supply concept does not have any redundancy on the 110 kV side. Furthermore, the 110 kV and 5.4 kV switchgear are no longer personnel and operationally safe due to their age, according to today's standards. With the construction of the new high-voltage feed, continuous redundant supply will be achieved from the high-voltage side (110 kV) to the medium-voltage side (5.4 kV).
