Germany – Underground work other than tunnels, shafts and subways – Betriebshof Käfertal - VE3 Vorabmaßnahmen

The overall measure "Umbau und Kapazitätserweiterung Käfertal Bahnhof und Betriebshof" consists of three main components:

1. Reconstruction of Käfertal station with the adjacent track sections and road junctions

2. New construction of the operating workshop

3. New construction of the storage hall, incorporating the existing historic workshop hall

The present tender includes the following services:

- Demolition work (garages, bulk material boxes, storage buildings)

- Earthworks

- Removal, interim storage and replacement of topsoil

- Creation of ground level, introduction of soil masses

- Drainage, sewer and waterworks

- New construction of soakaways

- Cable and conduit works

- Road construction

- Production of foundations for overhead line masts

- Production of temporary surfaces for the construction work

- Traffic safety services with signage and marking during the construction period
