The subject of the contract is the implementation of the Sub-Project 2 «Strengthening of the RCO and Development of Social Innovation» of the Action «Support Mechanism of the Regional Coordination Authority of Thessaly for the development of social innovation as a means to address the crisis», with code MIS 6039177. The purpose of the contract is the operational strengthening of the RCO and the creation of a functional mechanism for cooperation and social innovation, with the aim of supporting employment, social inclusion, social entrepreneurship, and the resilience of the affected areas of Thessaly. Sub-Project 2 «Strengthening of the RCO and Development of Social Innovation» concerns the creation of a permanent NETWORK FOR COOPERATION FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION, the strengthening of human resources and the development of skills of the Regional Coordination Authority and the entities of the NETWORK, the development of a culture of social entrepreneurship, the connection of the RCO with European networks of social innovation, as well as the creation of the necessary digital applications that will contribute to the sustainability of the RCO and the NETWORK FOR COOPERATION FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION. It also concerns the provision of advisory and support services to affected parties for their activation in social innovation actions, the implementation of pilot social entrepreneurship actions and volunteer groups for political protection.
