Germany – Low-floor buses – Beschaffung von 3 Stück Vollniederflur-Batteriebussen

The design of the bus must be modern, giving the vehicle an appealing and marketable appearance, alongside functional design principles, to present the vehicle as a modern, contemporary means of transport to customers. The vehicle must comply with the relevant provisions of EU Directives 95/28 and 2001/85/EC, the STVZO, the BO Kraft, the accident prevention regulations of the employers' liability insurance association, and further guidelines, the relevant announcements in the Verkehrsblatt, and the requirements for school transport. The needs of people with disabilities or mobility impairments, as well as the requirements for accessibility, must be taken into account. In this context, Article 8 of Regulation (EU) No 540/2014, which contains provisions on Acoustic Vehicle Alerting Systems (AVAS) for electric vehicles, must be taken into account and the corresponding evidence must be provided in the offer. The checklist for minimum standards for accessible buses is attached as Annex 1. The corresponding entries must be made and attached to the offer.
