The Jenaer Bäder u. Freizeit GmbH intends to comprehensively modernize and, in particular, energetically renovate the GalaxSea leisure pool at Rudolstädter Straße 37 in 07745 Jena. As part of the energy renovation, the uninsulated slides are to be replaced with a new system, the outdoor pool is to be rebuilt and enclosed, and the former sports pool is to be climatically separated from the children's and experience area. The water surfaces are to be reduced, the different water circuits separated from each other, and the indoor and outdoor saunas modernized. The barrier-free accessibility of the leisure pool is to be ensured by two elevators. The wellness area on the upper floor is to be converted into a staff area with changing rooms, showers, a lounge, and office workstations. The new staff area is to meet current workplace requirements and provide employees with up-to-date working conditions. The former swimming and teaching pool is to be converted into a diving pool and a new children's area with a spray park and a dry play area. The former children's paddling pool is to be rebuilt with a smaller water surface and varying water depths. The building services are to be renewed, expanded, and adapted to the changed needs of the pool.
