Health North gGmbH, Bremen Hospital Network (GeNo) is one of the largest municipal hospital corporations in the Federal Republic. The company includes the four hospitals Klinikum Bremen-Mitte, Klinikum Links der Weser, Klinikum Bremen-Ost and Klinikum Bremen-Nord, as well as the medical care centre Bremen (MVZ). The approximately 8,200 employees care for around 120,000 patients in-patient and day-patient and a further 200,000 patients out-patient each year. The range of medical services extends from the treatment of accident victims to highly specialised surgical methods, from obstetrics to geriatric medicine, from transplantation to rehabilitation. The hospital network covers almost all medical disciplines with its range of medical services. The subject of the present procurement procedure is the implementation of a centrally coordinated management of waste for utilisation and disposal, including the provision of services in the areas of disposal, personnel provision and logistics for the Health North gGmbH hospital network (Contracting Authority - AG). The following services are to be provided at the following locations of Health North gGmbH: Klinikum Bremen-Mitte (KBM), St. Jürgen-Straße 1, 28205 Bremen, Klinikum Bremen-Nord (KBN), Hammersbecker Straße 228, 28755 Bremen, Psychiatrisches Behandlungszentrum Bremen Nord (PBZ), Aumunder Heerweg 83 - 85, 28757 Bremen, Klinikum Bremen-Ost (KBO), Züricher Straße 40, 28325 Bremen, Klinikum Links der Weser (LdW), Senator-Weßling-Straße 1, 28277 Bremen. Logistik-Center (warehouse, pharmacy, laundry, office location), Erich-Kühlmann-Str. 5, 28197 Bremen. As part of the renovation and restructuring process, a central food distribution centre will be created in the existing kitchen of Klinikum Bremen-Ost for the hospital network. The completion of the food distribution centre is scheduled for the end of 2026. The move to the food distribution centre will take place in the first quarter of 2027. Until the end of 2026, kitchen waste will be disposed of at the locations KBM, KLdW and KBN. From the beginning of 2027, food and kitchen waste will only be disposed of at the location KBO. The services are divided into two lots: Lot 1: Container/ bin provision and centrally coordinated waste management, Lot 2: Vehicle and personnel for the provision of waste transport.
