Germany – Drinking-water treatment plant construction work – Erweiterung und Modernisierung Wasserwerk Hermentingen BA 1 - ZV Wasserversorgung Zollernalb

The Zweckverband Wasserversorgung Zollernalb plans to expand and modernise the Hermentingen waterworks to ensure long-term drinking water supply. The measure involves, in particular, the structural expansion of the waterworks for the expansion of treatment by means of an ultrafiltration plant, as well as the partial renovation and renewal of existing structural, process and electrical engineering plant components. In a first construction phase, the expansion of treatment by means of ultrafiltration will be carried out. In a later second construction phase, the renovation of the existing installations will be carried out. The measure of trade 01 includes, in particular: • Extension building for the ultrafiltration plant on the existing purified water tank, • Installation of a 4-lane ultrafiltration plant, • Adaptation of the existing treatment technology, • Adaptation of building parts, roofs and facades, • New conception of storage and functional rooms, • New construction of a pipe break protection shaft, • Renewal or adaptation of the medium-voltage system, • Renewal of the low-voltage, automation and control technology. The work is to be carried out in several installation phases while the waterworks is in operation. The aim is to ensure the sustainable provision of a high-performance and hygienically impeccable drinking water supply. BA 1 is divided into six trades. The earthworks and civil engineering works are to be awarded in this lot. All other trades are published simultaneously in parallel procedures.
