Project Description Parking Garage De Barones, located on the west flank of the historic city centre of Breda, provides space for approximately 510 vehicles and is one of the most heavily used municipal parking garages. Due to its central location, the parking garage plays an important role for visitors to the city centre, employees and the nightlife. Various extensive maintenance works are planned for the coming years as part of the Multi-Year Maintenance Programme (MJOP). Given the nature and scope of these works, in combination with the desire to functionally modernise the parking garage and better align it with current user needs and urban developments, the municipality has chosen to request these works integrally. The contract includes both the further development of the available Definitive Design (DO) into an Execution-Ready Design and the realisation of the works. Global Scope of the Works A. Construction Works Maintenance Works: -Floor coatings; -Ceilings; -Painting; -Replacement of doors; -Replacement of facade panels; -Renovation of toilet facilities. Functional improvement entrance Tolbrugstraat: -Adjustment of the facade; -Optimisation of the layout; -Renovation of floor finishes; -Renovation of ceilings; -Painting; -Renovation of balustrades. B. Technical Installation Works Mechanical Engineering Installations: -Replacement of exhaust fans; -Replacement of extraction fans; -Renovation of control engineering installations for ventilation; -Renovation of CO and LPG detection systems. Electrical Engineering Installations: -Replacement and adaptation of lighting and power installations; -Replacement of switchgear and distribution systems; -Renovation of lighting, emergency lighting and escape route signage; -Replacement of the emergency power supply; -Renovation of fire alarm and evacuation systems. Execution The works will be carried out in phases, so that the parking garage can remain available to visitors and users as much as possible during the execution. Schedule (indicative) - Design development, engineering and construction preparation: January – February 2027; - Realisation of works: March – end of July 2027; - Maintenance period 1 year: end of July 2027 - end of July 2028. Lots This contract is not divided into lots. Objective The objective of this tender is to conclude an agreement with one contractor for the realisation of the works.
