The Gharghur Local Council is seeking to award a contract for the provision of handyman/cleaner services. The services will include a range of tasks such as minor repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of the Council's premises and equipment. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension for a further 12 months.

The Council requires a reliable and experienced service provider to deliver high-quality services. The service provider must have the necessary qualifications, experience, and resources to carry out the required tasks efficiently and effectively.

The tender documents can be obtained from the Council's website at https://www.gharghur.gov.mt/tenders. Interested parties should submit their tenders electronically via the Council's e-tendering portal by 12:00 noon on 15th October 2023.

The tender will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. **Technical Proposal (50 points)**

- Understanding of the requirements (15 points)

- Proposed methodology and approach (20 points)

- Experience and qualifications (15 points)

2. **Financial Proposal (50 points)**

- Price (50 points)

The Council reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, or to annul the tendering process without assigning any reason. The Council will not be liable for any costs incurred by tenderers in the preparation and submission of their tenders.

The contract will be awarded to the tenderer who submits the most economically advantageous tender, as determined by the Council. The Council will notify the successful tenderer and all other tenderers of the outcome of the tendering process.

The Council encourages open and fair competition and expects all tenderers to adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct. Tenderers must ensure that their submissions are complete, accurate, and compliant with the tender documents and specifications.
