Nykyinen CCTV- ja TRS-järjestelmä on pääosin 15-20 vuotta vanha ja ei enää vastaa nykyisiä vaatimuksia. Tämä johtaa lisääntyneisiin turvallisuusriskeihin ja lainsäädännön ja säädösten noudattamattomuuteen. Barneveldin kunta on siksi aikeissa korvata nykyinen CCTV- ja TRS-järjestelmä.
