**Description of the Contract:** The European Commission, Joint Research Centre (JRC) intends to acquire a bench-top nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer for high-throughput screening. The NMR spectrometer will be used for the analysis of various samples, including but not limited to, food, environmental, and biological samples. The spectrometer should be capable of performing both liquid and solid-state NMR measurements. The JRC requires a spectrometer with a magnetic field strength of at least 1.0 Tesla and a minimum resolution of 400 MHz. The spectrometer should also be equipped with a sample changer and automated data acquisition and processing capabilities. The JRC is seeking proposals from suppliers who can provide a spectrometer that meets these requirements and offers competitive pricing. The JRC reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers and to award the contract based on the best value for money.
