Care:ecoHUB is a digital platform designed to support care and healthcare services. The aim is to establish an interoperable, scalable data and service hub that brings together structured care individual data, quality-assuring facility data, and research data, and makes it accessible to different authorised user groups. This initiative addresses key challenges in care and healthcare, particularly the increasing demand for care, the shortage of skilled workers, and the currently inadequate cross-sectoral and cross-institutional use of data. Due to the high degree of innovation, the lack of market availability of a comparable overall solution, and the close integration of development, testing and later operation, the project will be carried out within the framework of an innovation partnership in accordance with § 19 VgV. As part of the project, Universitätsmedizin Halle will work with various practice partners to build an interoperable repository to obtain individual health data in real time. The data obtained should be made available for scientific questions and used to improve care decisions. Furthermore, the data obtained should serve as a benchmark for the quality of care services. The subject of the innovation partnership is the conception, development, testing, implementation and prospective operation of the Care:ecoHUB as a scalable, modular, real-time capable, digital data and service platform for care, quality assurance and research.
