Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie GmbH (HZB) is a research institution with around 1,500 employees at two locations - Berlin-Wannsee and Berlin-Adlershof. People from different countries and with diverse professional backgrounds work together at the research centre. Depending on the area of deployment and field of activity, some have been part of the centre for many years, while others are only active for limited periods. This diversity of experiences, perspectives and careers shapes the working environment and significantly contributes to the centre's innovative power. The centre intends to establish a pool of qualified trainers who will carry out measures for the personal and competence development of scientific, administrative and technical staff as required. The aim is to promote the continuous development of all employee groups and to contribute to a sustainable, learning-oriented organisational culture. It is important for HZB that further education is designed by people who are familiar with different experiences, languages, ways of thinking and realities of life. Diversity in perspectives and experiences significantly contributes to inclusive and practical training offers for HZB. We explicitly invite trainers with different cultural backgrounds, professional experiences and life stories to participate in the tender for our further education offers. The contract includes the development of interdisciplinary competencies for scientists in an early career phase, managers in general and all employees of HZB. The training offers support the employees in the successful exercise of their activity, effective leadership and a appreciative interaction. To be able to carry out such measures in consistent quality and regularity, a pool of trainers is to be established. Suitable and efficient contractors will be included in this pool and contacted by HZB if necessary regarding the implementation of a training measure. A fixed quota will not be agreed. It is expected that the trainers will apply training methods that address different target groups and learning styles, take into account the specific requirements of the scientific, administrative and technical staff, and promote a appreciative, open learning climate that takes into account the diversity of the employees. The estimated contract volume over 4 years is approximately 250,000 EUR.
