An Fhionlainn – Refrigerating and freezing equipment – Laboratoriotason kylmälaitteet humaaninäytteiden, verituotteiden ja reagenssien säilytykseen

Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy’s procurement of laboratory-grade cold-storage equipment (Equipment) for storing human samples, blood products and reagents. The procurement includes delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance and support services, as well as consumables and accessories related to the equipment, as specified in the tender documents and its attachments. A separate agreement will be made for the maintenance and support services of the equipment. The procurement is divided into six parts by equipment type: laboratory-grade refrigerator, laboratory-grade refrigerator-freezer, laboratory-grade freezer, ultra-low freezer, laboratory-grade blood refrigerator and plasma freezers for blood centres. Each part contains 1-4 sub-sections, which have been formed based on the size, characteristics or other differing purposes of the equipment. Two different trade names (models) will be selected for each sub-section, provided that there are sufficient accepted tenders. The supplier may submit one tender. Partial tenders are permitted between both parts and sub-sections. The supplier may offer one or at most two different trade names (models) for each sub-section offered as a parallel tender. The price list contains an estimate of the quantity of equipment to be procured during the contract period. The Equipment to be procured is of various types and will be procured according to the needs of the Purchaser (for new needs and to replace existing equipment when they are decommissioned), mainly to the production laboratories of the Purchaser (Tampere, Hämeenlinna, Jyväskylä, Lahti, Vaasa) and occasionally to the largest sample collection centres. The quantity of equipment to be procured is an estimate and does not bind the Purchaser. The actual procurement quantities may therefore be larger or smaller than estimated. The procurement aims to ensure the availability of high-quality, safe and reliable cold-storage equipment for the different units of Fimlab at competitive terms. The contract period for the Equipment is two years. The contract may be extended by one option period of two (2) years. A separate four-year maintenance and support service agreement will be made. The maintenance agreement may be extended indefinitely after the four-year contract period.
