Opis

DPC intends to establish a multi-party framework for Port Hydrographic Survey Works, to: a. provide hydrographic, geophysical, and associated marine survey services across DPC’s operational and capital programme requirements; b. support DPC in fulfilling its statutory duties as a client in respect of health and safety coordination during the design process, across a range of civil, structural, marine, building and infrastructure projects throughout the framework term. Framework Members shall be capable of providing, as a minimum, the following survey services whether in-house or through an approved consortium: DPC requires firms with strong health and safety design coordination experience across a range of construction project types, including civil engineering, marine structures, port infrastructure, buildings, and utilities works. A. Core Survey Services Non-Exhaustive The required expertise includes, but is not limited to: • Multi-Beam EchoSounder MBES monitoring surveys of all navigation channels, berth facilities, docks, and anchorage areas; • MBES measurement surveys in association with capital and maintenance dredging works, including pre-, interim, and post-dredge surveys; • Assessment of seabed characteristic information from backscatter returns where MBES equipment is used; • Single-Beam EchoSounder SBES monitoring surveys where required, particularly at Dundalk Port and in shallow areas; • Assistance with archaeological and obstruction identification, including geophysical, magnetometer, side scan sonar SSS, and drop-down video DDV services; • Acquisition of intertidal areas and adjacent structures using LIDAR-based methods; • Establishment of new and existing berth fender lines and quay features; • Calibration and validation of port tide gauges and tide boards; • Establishment and/or validation of temporary benchmarks; • Provision of post-processing, quality control, and data management, including delivery of survey data in agreed formats XYZ, LAS, CARIS, PDF, and other formats as required; • Preparation of survey reports, cross-sections, contour plots, and comparison overlays to DPC’s requirements. • Professional indemnity, marine liability, and other insurances in the amounts required under the Framework Agreement. B. Additional Services In addition to the core survey services set out above, DPC may require Framework Members to provide the following additional services under individual call-off contracts: Additional services may include non-exhaustive: • Sub-bottom profiling surveys; • Wreck investigation and obstruction surveys; • Geotechnical sampling support positioning and data integration; • Assistance with environmental monitoring surveys suspended sediment, turbidity, etc.; • GNSS/RTK control network establishment and verification; BIM and GIS integration and delivery of survey data to DPC’s asset management systems. Candidates should note that this list is non-exhaustive, and the successful tenderer may be required to provide other survey services as requested by DPC during the Framework. Important: DPC seeks only Candidates capable of delivering all core services listed in Section 3.1A, whether in-house or through a consortium/grouping. Applications limited to one or more survey types only may be rejected.
