**Description**: The European Commission, Directorate General for Research and Innovation, Directorate B - European Research Area, Unit B.4 - Research Infrastructures, intends to acquire and set up two vaporised hydrogen peroxide decontamination units.

The objective of this contract is to provide two decontamination units based on vaporised hydrogen peroxide (VHP) technology. The units will be used for the decontamination of sensitive equipment and materials, including those used in research laboratories and other controlled environments. The units must be capable of achieving a 6-log reduction in microbial contamination, including bacterial spores, and must comply with relevant standards and regulations.

The contract will include the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the two decontamination units, as well as training for the end-users. The contractor will also be responsible for providing maintenance and support services for a period of 5 years after the installation.

The estimated value of the contract is EUR 500 000, exclusive of VAT. The contract will be awarded based on the most economically advantageous tender, taking into account the criteria of price, technical merit, and quality of service.

The deadline for the receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 15.10.2022 at 12:00 (Brussels local time). Tenders or requests to participate must be submitted electronically via the eTendering platform.

The estimated duration of the contract is 24 months from the date of award. The contract will be governed by the rules and regulations of the European Union, in particular the Financial Regulation and the Rules on the implementation of the Financial Regulation.
