**III.2.1) Short description of the contract or purchase(s)**

The works include the dismantling of the existing chair lift, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new stair lift (inclined platform) at the MSIDA Local Council premises. The new stair lift will be a straight inclined platform lift with a capacity of 225 kg and a platform size of 800 x 1 200 mm. The lift will have a maximum speed of 0,15 m/s and will be equipped with a manual folding ramp. The contract also includes the supply and installation of a new call/send station and the necessary safety features. The works will be carried out in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations, including the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the relevant EN standards. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and for the safe disposal of the dismantled chair lift. The works must be completed within 12 months from the date of the order. The contractor will be required to provide a maintenance service for a period of 12 months after the completion of the works.
