Pump storage power plant "Chaira" is the largest in Southeast Europe and plays a crucial role in the country's power system. The plant houses four single-stage hydro units (HA) from 1 to 4 (HA1, HA2, HA3 and HA4), each with a capacity of 216 MW in generator mode and 197 MW in pump mode, located in the cavern in two hydro groups supplied by two separate pressure shafts. The subject of the public procurement includes the preparation of an expert assessment for the removal of secondary concrete around each spiral chamber, the dismantling of the spiral chamber and the analysis of the static and dynamic scheme of the building structures and machinery, before and after the removal of the secondary concrete (including the spiral chamber), as well as the assessment of the risk of performing the activities. The expert assessment must include the method, technology and sequence of actions. All conditions regarding the scope and manner of the contract are described in the Technical Specification.
