The Health Research Board, herein after referred to as the “HRB” or the “Contracting Authority”, is the authority responsible for this procurement. The Health Research Board (HRB) (www.hrb.ie) is a statutory agency under the aegis of the Department of Health. The HRB’s mission is to support research that improves people's health, promotes evidence-informed care and creates solutions to societal challenges. Our vison is ‘better health through excellent research, data and evidence’. The HRB oversees an approximate €50 million investment in health research activity each year. The scope of the Framework Agreement is for the provision of agency workers to the Client to fill certain temporary resource requirements. Tenderers should refer to Section 3 of the RFT for a detailed description of the scope.
