In the current situation, the municipality of Rhenen has contracted five service providers through a European tender for the implementation of the Wmo bespoke provision of Domestic Support (HO). The current agreement will expire on 31 March 2027. As of February 2026, the municipality of Rhenen has 414 HO clients. With this tender, multiple care providers will be contracted to provide HO services. In addition, the municipality of Rhenen has Domestic Support for informal caregivers (HOM). In February 2026, this involved 2 clients using the HOM scheme. As of 31 March 2027, the municipality of Rhenen will have no further contractual obligations and/or commitments to the current service providers. A maximum of 500 clients per year.
