Hilton Munich Airport plans to undertake a comprehensive renovation of its public areas (approx. 3.450 m²) to implement the design theme "Mountain Hub" in the atrium, reception, WC facilities, and the West conference area. The construction work will be carried out during the ongoing 5-star hotel operation and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the 3rd quarter of 2027 - the atrium must be completed before the Oktoberfest 2027. Key measures:

- West conference area: Reorganization including drywall construction, renewal of floor, wall and ceiling coverings, mobile partition walls, break-out area, new floor tanks, cooling ceilings, media and ventilation technology. High-quality buffet and beverage technology, high-quality carpentry installations, new furniture.

- Atrium: Redesign with a new two-story bar, lighting installation, Sport1 broadcast area, reception counter, lounge zones. Technical renewal including electrical, water supply/drainage, lighting control (KNX/DALI), carpentry installations, new furniture.

- Sanitary facilities: Renewal of the ladies' and gentlemen's toilets with new sanitary blocks, new partition walls, as well as new floor, wall and ceiling surfaces; connections remain the same.

- Lighting concept: High-quality, flexible lighting for events, coordinated with the design concept.

- General: Replacement of technical systems (e.g. electrical distribution), consideration of underfloor heating when installing floor tanks. The design planning (LP3) forms the binding basis for further implementation by the general contractor. In addition to the expansion, the performance phase 5 according to HOAI, as well as a detailed workshop and assembly planning, must be provided.
