Für die Arbeiten an der Strahllinie ADRESS 2.0 für weiche Röntgenstrahlung an der Swiss Light Source 2.0 (SLS 2.0) des Paul Scherrer Instituts wird ein neues experimentelles UltraHochvakuum-Instrument für resonante unelastische Röntgestreuung (RIXS) benötigt, das aus einem RIXS-Spektrometer und einer RIXS-Probenkammer besteht. Die Strahllinie ADRESS 2.0 deckt einen Energiebereich von 250 eV bis 1700 eV mit variabler Polarisationssteuerung ab. Das RIXS-Spektrometer muss so konstruiert sein, dass es mittels Luftkissen angehoben und auf einem Granitboden um die RIXS-Probenkammer herum in einem Winkelbereich von ≥130° gedreht werden kann.
