Auctioneer plans to supply eligible connections in accordance with the Gigabit Directive 2.0 through a gigabit-capable network based on FTTB technology by awarding a grant to a network operator (Economic Viability Gap). The aim is to eliminate the remaining grey areas. The project is to be supported by a grant from the Federal Government for an economic viability gap model according to No. 3.1 of the Directive "Promotion to support the gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany" of 31.03.2023, in the amended version of 13.01.2025 (Gigabit Directive 2.0), and according to the "Administrative Regulation of the Ministry of the Interior for the co-financing of the Federal Directive "Promotion to support the gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany" (VwV Gigabit Co-Financing)".
