The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission intends to conclude a framework agreement for the rental of lifting equipment and accessories, including transport, assembly, dismantling, maintenance and repair. The framework agreement will have a duration of 48 months and will be divided into 4 lots. The estimated value of the framework agreement is EUR 1 000 000.00 (excl. VAT) for each lot.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission intends to conclude a framework agreement for the rental of lifting equipment and accessories, including transport, assembly, dismantling, maintenance and repair. The framework agreement will have a duration of 48 months and will be divided into 4 lots. The estimated value of the framework agreement is EUR 1 000 000.00 (excl. VAT) for each lot. The framework agreement will cover the following types of lifting equipment and accessories: cranes, lifting platforms, forklifts, scissor lifts, telescopic handlers, aerial work platforms, hoists, winches, and other related equipment and accessories. The equipment will be used for various purposes, including research, construction, and maintenance activities at the JRC sites in Ispra (Italy), Geel (Belgium), Petten (Netherlands), and Karlsruhe (Germany). The equipment must be delivered, assembled, and ready for use within 24 hours of the order. The contractor must also provide maintenance and repair services during the rental period. The framework agreement will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender based on the following criteria: price (weighting 60%), technical quality (weighting 20%), and experience (weighting 20%).
