Vantaan Energialla are 5 100 heat meters in its district heating network, of which remote reading has been implemented for approximately 2 000 devices with 2G/3G modems. Due to the upcoming 2G shutdown, Vantaan Energia will replace these 2 000 devices by the end of 2029. The heat meters included in the tender are mostly in the DN20-DN40 size class and are mainly distributed in the DN20-DN100 size class. Individual targets can be found up to DN150 in size. The objective of this procurement is to provide Vantaan Energia with new heat meters whose requirements, remote reading functionality and measurement data acquisition are ensured well into the 2030s.
